GoJets shall mean Jeffersons Limited trading as GoJets; The Aircraft shall mean any aircraft which is used by GoJets to fulfill the client’s booking; The Carrier shall mean the air operator whose aircraft is/are being used to fulfill the client’s booking; Booking Confirmation shall mean the document issued by GoJets containing the flight schedules and charges; the Charter means the travel arrangements as specified in the Booking Confirmation.

1. Your contract and Status
When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept on behalf of your party the terms of these conditions. A contract will exist as soon as we issue our Booking Confirmation. This contract is with Jeffersons Limited trading as GoJets and is covered by English Law. For the purposes of this contract, GoJets acts as the Carrier’s agent. If a booking is accepted through a travel or other agent this contract shall be between Jeffersons Limited trading as GoJets and the client.

2. Price
All charters are offered subject to availability. The price includes only the flight sector(s) and services as are itemised on the Booking Confirmation and none other. The price must be paid at least 21 days before the first date of travel. We accept payment by cheque, bank transfer, Switch or credit card (for which a 1.5% fee applies, 2% for using American Express, or 2.7% for commercial cards). If the price is not paid in time, we shall cancel your travel arrangements. Any monies paid by the client to a travel (or other) agent will be held by the agent on our behalf until such time as they are paid across to us.

3. If you change your booking
Requests for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. You will be asked to pay an amendment charge of £50 and any further costs we incur if we are able to make the alteration. Note: Travel arrangements commencing near to the date of the change may not be changeable after a reservation has been made and any alteration request could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangements.

4. Effect of bad weather, strikes and air traffic control instructions
You shall be liable for all costs incurred by GoJets as a result of delays and/or re-routes arising from inclement weather, strikes or air traffic control instructions which are beyond GoJet’s control, including extra flying time where applicable. Where, in these circumstances, the Aircraft is obliged to land at a different airport to the airport stated in the Booking Confirmation, GoJets shall be under no obligation to transport the client(s) back to the original airport or intended ultimate destination.

5. Late arrivals
If you find you are running late please contact us as soon as possible. We will always try to accommodate late arrivals. However, unless we agree otherwise prior to the scheduled departure time, clients who fail to arrive at an airport within 2 hours of this time shall be deemed to have declared their non-use of the service and shall not be entitled to any refund or replacement service. If a deferred departure time is agreed, you undertake to indemnify GoJets against any costs which may arise as a result.

6. Baggage
GoJets makes no undertakings whatsoever in respect of the carriage of baggage, the acceptance or otherwise of which rests solely with the captain(s) of the charter aircraft(s).  GoJets shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage however caused.

7. If you cancel your charter
You may cancel the charter at any time. Written notification from the person who made the booking must be received at our offices. Since we incur costs in cancelling your travel arrangements, the following charges apply:

Period before departure when notice of cancellation is received by us: Cancellation charge (% of total charter cost)
From date of signed confirmation: 20%
Less than 14 days: 30%
Less than 7 days: 75%
Less than 2 days and no-show: 100%

Should you decide to curtail your itinerary for any reason, or decide not to use booked services, no refunds will be given.

8. If we change or cancel your charter
It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your charter. Occasionally however, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and no compensation will be payable. Examples of minor changes include alteration of your outward/return flight time by less than 6 hours or the change of an airport for operational reasons or inclement weather beyond our control. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your charter but will not do so within 2 weeks of departure, except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance. If we are unable to provide all or part of the booked services, you can either have a refund of the relevant monies paid or accept an offer of alternative charter arrangements of comparable standard from us, if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value and will ask you to pay additional sums if the cost is greater)). Please note that the aircraft manufacturer or type referred to in the Booking Confirmation may be subject to change. Such a change is deemed to be a minor change, provided the replacement aircraft is of a similar or superior standard. If we make a major change to your charter, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure. You will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements, accepting an offer of alternatives (we will refund or charge for any price difference), or cancelling and receiving a full refund of all monies paid. In the unlikely event that one or more flight sectors of your journey become non operational for any reason and it is not possible to replace the aircraft with a similar private jet we reserve the right to provide you with scheduled airline transportation for that sector within the highest class available. We will refund the difference in price.

9. Force Majeure
If we are prevented from fulfilling any part of the Charter as a result of strikes, lockouts, inclement weather, war or threatened war, terrorist activity, riot, demonstration, fire, flood, earthquake, any other Act of God, any order of a court or government, or for any other reason beyond our control, our obligations hereunder shall be permanently suspended.

10. Exclusions of Liability
(i) Subject to paragraph (ii) below GoJets shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from the charter however caused. This includes any damage to baggage or personal effects. (ii) We accept responsibility for death, injury or illness caused by the negligent acts and/or omissions of our employees or agents, our suppliers and sub-contractors, whilst acting within the scope of, or in the course of, their employment in the provision of your travel arrangements. We will accordingly pay to you such damages as might have been awarded in such circumstances under English Law. (iii) You agree to indemnify GoJets against any claims we may receive from third parties arising from loss or damage caused by you. (iv) In respect of travel by air our liability and our Carrier’s liability will be limited in the manner provided by the relevant international convention.
